Mailbox settings

Each mailbox has its own settings. Open them from the mailbox switcher with Mailbox settings, or in Settings under Mailboxes.

Mailbox name

The name Mira shows for the mailbox, like Work or Personal. Leave it empty to show the email address.

Sender name

For mailboxes you connected with Other email, Your name is the name people see when you email them. Leave it empty to send with the email address alone. Gmail and Outlook mailboxes use the name from your Google or Microsoft account.

Email signature

Your signature is added to new emails, replies and forwards you send from this mailbox. You can still edit it in each email before you send it.

Icon

The icon helps tell mailboxes apart, especially two from the same provider. Choose the provider's logo, the first letter of the mailbox, or another icon.

Images

Images in emails load through Mira's servers, so senders do not see your IP address or device. Senders can still tell that you opened an email when its images load. Turn on Ask before showing images to load them only when you choose, email by email.

Connection

• Gmail and Outlook: if Mira lost access to the mailbox, select Reconnect Google or Reconnect Microsoft and sign in again.
• Other email: change the server settings or the password, then select Save changes.
