Notifications
Get an alert on your phone or computer when new mail arrives.
Mira can alert you when new mail arrives, even when Mira is closed. Notifications are turned on for each device you use.
Turn on notifications
Open the notification settings
On the phone or computer you want alerts on, open Settings, then Notifications.
Turn them on
Turn on New mail notifications, and allow notifications when your browser asks.
Mira then shows On for this device. Signing out of Mira turns notifications off on that device.
Choose what alerts you
These settings apply to every device with notifications on:
- Mailboxes: choose which mailboxes send alerts.
- Show in notifications: choose whether alerts show the Sender, the Subject and a Message preview. Turn them off to keep your email private on a lock screen.
If notifications do not turn on
- If Mira says notifications are blocked, allow them for Mira in your browser's site settings, then try again.
