Connect a calendar
Connect Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud, any CalDAV calendar, or a calendar link, so your meetings join your day.
Connect your calendars so your meetings show on the Overview and in Upcoming, next to what Mira finds in your mail. You can connect as many as you like, on every plan.
Before you start
- iCloud: create an app-specific password at account.apple.com, under Sign-In and Security.
- Another CalDAV calendar, such as Fastmail or Nextcloud: have the calendar's CalDAV address, your user name, and an app password ready.
- A calendar link: copy the link that starts with
webcal://orhttps://from the calendar you want, such as a school timetable.
Connect it
Open the calendar settings
Open Settings, then Calendars, and select Connect a calendar.
Choose your calendar
Choose Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, iCloud Calendar, Other calendar, Calendar link, or Import a file.
Sign in or fill in the details
For Google and Outlook, sign in and allow Mira to see your calendar. For iCloud and other calendars, enter your details and select Connect. For a link, give it a name and select Add calendar. For a file, choose it, give it a name, and select Import calendar.
Check that it worked
The calendar shows under Connected calendars. Its meetings appear on the Overview within a few minutes. If a calendar can't be read for a while, Mira says so on the Overview and in Settings > Calendars, with Try again. See Calendar problems.
A calendar link and an imported file can only be read. Mira can't add or change events in them. A link keeps updating when its organiser changes it. An imported file is read once, so later changes to the original don't reach Mira.
