Plan your day with Overview

Overview shows who is waiting on you, who you are waiting on, what you promised, and what is coming up, on Pro.

Overview is your day on one page: who is waiting on you, who you are waiting on, what you promised, and what is coming up. It is at the top of the sidebar and is part of the Pro plan. It shows the mailbox you selected, or every mailbox in All inboxes.

It has three tabs: Today, Suggestions, and Activity. At the top right, Ask Mira opens a chat, and Print or save as PDF prints the day as a report. To keep a PDF, choose Save as PDF in the print window.

Today

Four counts at the top show who is waiting on you, who you are waiting on, what you promised, and what is At risk: due by tomorrow, overdue, or saved for later and forgotten. Select a count to jump to its panel. Today's briefing says where to start and why.

The panels

Each conversation where the next step is yours shows as a task: what to do ("Confirm the website quote for Zoe"), why ("Zoe asked you 2 days ago."), the sentence that asks, and the details you need, such as a price or a date. A panel with nothing in it says so in one line and keeps its place.

PanelWhat it shows
Waiting on youConversations in Needs you, and conversations you saved in Reply later.
To doBills due in the next week, and alerts that ask you to act.
Waiting on othersConversations where you asked someone something 3 or more days ago and nobody has written since.
You promisedThings you said you would do, such as "I'll send the assets tomorrow", with the day when your message names one.

Under each task are a few ways to answer, such as Accept the quote or Ask for more time. Select one to open the composer with a reply Mira writes in that direction, then change it and send it yourself. Reply myself opens an empty reply. Mira never sends anything, and an answer never promises a price, date, or amount that is not already in the conversation.

When you have handled a task, select Done. In ⋯, Snooze until tomorrow hides it for a day, and Not a task removes it when Mira got it wrong. A task comes back if the conversation changes.

A conversation you saved in Reply later 3 or more days ago and have not answered is marked At risk, and so are bills and promises due by tomorrow.

Suggestions

Suggestions lists the next steps Mira proposes, such as a follow-up to someone who has not replied in days, a reply you have put off, or archiving the day's unread promotions. Nothing happens until you choose one.

For a proposed reply or follow-up, select Write draft to have Mira write it in the card, then Review and send to open it in the composer, where you can change it and send it. Mira never sends anything. Archiving asks you first, and nothing is deleted. Select Not now to set a suggestion aside. It comes back only if the conversation gets a new message.

Activity

Activity shows how your day and week are going: conversations that got new mail today, ones you replied in, drafts still open, and what you cleared, by answering it or selecting Done. Mira's help today counts the summaries, questions, and drafts you asked Mira for. This week compares the conversations you received and replied in each day, and Your rhythm shows the days you replied over the last twelve weeks.

The counts are of conversations, not single messages: a conversation you wrote in twice today counts once.

Coming up, Worth knowing, and New today

Also on Today:

  • Coming up shows what is ahead in the next week: trips, packages on their way, appointments and reservations you booked, meetings you agreed on by email, bills due, and subscriptions that renew or trials that end. Mira only lists a date your email actually states. Trips, deliveries and bookings stay listed after you archive their email; a bill leaves when you archive it, since that usually means it is paid. Select Done to take anything off the list, and each item leaves by itself once its day has passed.
  • Worth knowing shows automatic emails from the last 2 days that report a change to your own account, security, money, or a delivery, with the words that say so. Ones that ask you to act are in Your turn instead.
  • New today shows what came in to Orders, Invoices, Travel, and your own views, and how many updates and promotions you can skip.

Daily summary

Once a day, Mira can send you what Overview shows: who needs you, replies you saved and forgot, a trip, delivery, booking, bill or renewal that is coming up, and what is new. Turn it on in Settings > Notifications > Daily summary, then choose the time and whether it comes by email or as a notification on your devices. It opens Overview. On a day with nothing to tell, Mira sends nothing.

The email names people and subjects, never the text of their messages.

How Mira finds follow-ups, promises, and tasks

For Waiting on others and You promised, Mira's AI reads your newest message in each conversation you wrote in during the last 3 weeks, with the few messages before it, once per message you send. It only lists a request or a promise when it can point to the sentence in your own message that says it, and it gives a day only when your message names one. This does not use your AI credits.

To write a task, Mira's AI reads the newest few messages of the conversation once, when it becomes your turn. The details it lists are copied from the conversation, and the reason a task is there is written by Mira from the dates, not by the AI. This does not use your AI credits.
