Terms of Service

Last updated October 19, 2026

These terms apply when you use Mira. By creating an account or using Mira, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.

1. Who we are

Mira is run by Filippos Rafail Papadakis, a sole trader based in Greece (“Mira”, “we”, “us”). Email: legal@mirahq.app.

We plan to move Mira into a company. When that happens, we will tell you by email, and the company will take over this agreement with the same terms.

2. The service

Mira is a hosted email client. It connects to email accounts you own, such as Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook.com, Microsoft 365, or any IMAP mailbox, so you can read, search, write, and organize your email in one place, with optional AI help.

3. Who can use Mira

You must be at least 16 years old. You can use Mira for your personal email and for your own work. If you connect a mailbox your employer or organization manages, make sure they allow it.

4. Your account

  • Give us correct information, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Tell us right away at legal@mirahq.app if you think someone has used your account without permission.

5. Your mailboxes and your content

  • When you connect a mailbox, you allow Mira to access it to do what you ask: show your mail, keep it in sync, and carry out actions like sending, archiving, or deleting. Only connect mailboxes you are allowed to use.
  • Your email and everything you write belong to you. We use them only to provide Mira to you, as our Privacy Policy explains.
  • Mira is not a backup of your mailbox. Your email provider keeps your mail, and its own terms still apply. We are not responsible for its outages, limits, or changes.
  • If you use Mira for your work or business, our Data processing agreement is part of these terms, and applies to the personal data in your email that you are responsible for.

6. AI features

  • AI features are optional, and you choose when to use them.
  • The AI is read-only. It cannot send, delete, or change your email. Suggested text appears in your composer, and you decide whether to send it.
  • AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check them before you rely on them, and don’t treat them as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
  • Using an AI feature sends the emails it needs to our AI provider, as the Privacy Policy explains.

7. Plans, prices and payment

  • Mira has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Both include unlimited mailboxes. They differ in features and in the AI credits included each month, as shown on our pricing.
  • You pay for Pro in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices include VAT. We don’t see or store your card number.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • AI credits renew each month. Unused credits don’t carry over and have no cash value.
  • On Pro, you can turn on pay as you go to keep using AI after your included credits run out. Extra usage is billed with your subscription, never more in a month than the spending limit you set. You can change the limit or turn pay as you go off at any time in Settings.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days, and you keep Pro meanwhile. If it still fails, Pro ends and your account moves to Free.
  • We may change Pro’s price. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it starts with your next billing period. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then.

8. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time in Settings. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and then it stops and is not charged again. We don’t refund partial months or years, except as described below or where the law requires it.

14 days to change your mind. If you withdraw within 14 days of your first payment for Pro, we refund that payment in full. To withdraw, email legal@mirahq.app from the address of your Mira account. Pro then ends at once, and we refund you within 14 days, to the card you paid with. This includes your right of withdrawal as a consumer in the EU.

9. Acceptable use

Don’t use Mira to:

  • send spam or other unsolicited bulk email;
  • send phishing, malware, or anything deceptive or illegal;
  • harass, threaten, or harm others, or infringe their rights;
  • access accounts or data that are not yours; or
  • break, overload, or get around the limits and security of the service.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. Where we can, we will warn you first and tell you why.

10. Our service

  • We work hard to keep Mira running, fast, and secure, but we can’t promise it will never be down.
  • We keep improving Mira, and may add, change, or remove features. If we remove a major feature of Pro, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance.
  • Features marked “beta” or similar may change or stop, and are provided as they are.
  • If we stop offering Mira, we will tell you at least 60 days in advance, and refund any prepaid fees for the time left.
  • Mira, its software, design, and brand belong to us. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Mira and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others or the service at risk. If we close your account for that reason, your subscription ends at once and the current period is not refunded, unless the law requires it. If we suspend it for a limited time, billing pauses until the suspension ends.

12. Other services

Mira works with services run by others, such as Google, Microsoft, your IMAP provider, and the AI apps you connect through Mira’s MCP server. Their terms govern your use of their services, and we are not responsible for them. The companies we use to run Mira are listed on our Subprocessors page.

13. Liability

  • Mira is provided “as is”. We don’t promise it will meet every need you have or be free of errors.
  • We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost business, or lost data, as far as the law allows.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes, we will tell you in Mira or by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you don’t agree, you can cancel and delete your account before then. If you keep using Mira after the changes apply, you accept them. The date at the top always shows the latest version.

15. Other terms

  • Neither of us is liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as major outages of our providers, natural disasters, or war.
  • If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
  • These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Data processing agreement, are the whole agreement between us.

16. Law and courts

Greek law applies to these terms. The courts of Heraklion, Greece, decide any dispute, unless the law gives you the right to go to a different court. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you more protection, those protections still apply.
