# Quick start

Create your Mira account, connect your first mailbox, and read your mail.

Mira shows all your email in one place: Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365, iCloud, Yahoo and any other mailbox with IMAP. This page takes you from sign-up to your first conversation.

## Before you start

- The address and password, or the Google or Microsoft sign-in, of a mailbox you want to read in Mira.

## Steps

### Create your account

Go to [mail.mirahq.app/sign-up](https://mail.mirahq.app/sign-up) and sign up with Google, or with your email address and a password. With a password, Mira sends you an email: select **Verify email address** in it, then sign in.

### Connect a mailbox

Mira asks which mailbox to connect first:

- **Google** for Gmail and Google Workspace. See [Connect Gmail](https://mirahq-stg.app/docs/mailboxes/gmail).
- **Microsoft** for Outlook, Hotmail and Microsoft 365. See [Connect Outlook](https://mirahq-stg.app/docs/mailboxes/microsoft).
- **Other email** for iCloud, Yahoo and anything else with IMAP. See [Connect another mailbox](https://mirahq-stg.app/docs/mailboxes/imap).

Signing up with Google does not connect your Gmail. The mailboxes you read and the way you sign in to Mira are separate.

### Read your mail

Mira opens your inbox. Select a conversation to read it, and use **Reply**, **Reply all** or **Forward** under the last message.

### Try Mira's AI

In a long conversation, select **Summarize this conversation**. Mira writes a short summary and, when something needs you, what to do next. Every plan includes AI credits each month. See [Plans and AI credits](https://mirahq-stg.app/docs/account/plans-and-credits).

## Check that it worked

Your inbox shows your latest conversations, and new mail appears without reloading the page. To add more mailboxes, open **Settings**, then **All mailboxes**, and select **Connect mailbox**.
