# Install Mira

Add Mira to your phone's home screen or your computer, so it opens like an app.

Mira works in your browser on any phone or computer. Install it to open it from your home screen or dock, in its own window, like an app.

## Install it

Open your account menu and select **Install Mira app**.

- **Chrome and Edge,** on a computer or Android: your browser asks whether to install Mira. Select **Install**.
- **Safari on iPhone and iPad:** Mira shows the steps. Tap the Share button, then **Add to Home Screen**, and **Add**.
- **Samsung Internet:** Mira shows the steps. Tap the menu, then **Add page to**, **Home screen**, and **Add**.

If **Install Mira app** isn't in the menu, Mira is already installed, or your browser can't install apps. Try Chrome, Edge, or Safari.

## Check that it worked

Mira's icon is on your home screen or in your dock, and Mira opens in its own window.

> **Note:** On iPhone and iPad, alerts work only once Mira is on your Home Screen. Open it from there, then turn on [alerts](https://mirahq-stg.app/docs/mail/notifications).
