# Plans and AI credits

What Free and Pro include, how AI credits work, and how to upgrade.

Mira has two plans. Both include unlimited mailboxes and all of Mira's email features. They differ in how much of Mira's AI they include each month.

Prices include VAT. Save 2 months with yearly billing.

## AI credits

Every AI feature uses credits: summaries, questions, drafts and Ask Mira. How many depends on how much Mira reads and writes. A summary of a typical conversation uses about one credit; a question across many emails uses more.

- **Free:** 100 credits a month, renewed each month from the day you signed up.
- **Pro:** 1,000 credits a month, renewed on your plan's renewal day. On a yearly plan, they renew on that day each month.

Unused credits do not carry over. When your credits run out, Mira's AI pauses until they renew, and your email keeps working as usual. On Pro, you can turn on [pay as you go](https://mirahq-stg.app/docs/account/pay-as-you-go) to keep using AI.

Apps you connect through the MCP server use no credits.

## See your usage

Open **Settings**, then **Plan & usage**. **AI credits** shows how many you have used this month, when they renew, and **Credits by feature**.

## Upgrade to Pro

### Open Plan & usage

In **Settings**, select **Plan & usage**.

### Choose Pro

Choose **Monthly** or **Yearly**, then select **Upgrade to Pro**.

### Pay

Stripe opens to take the payment. Enter your card and billing address.

Mira shows **Welcome to Pro** once Stripe confirms the payment, usually within a few seconds, and your 1,000 credits are ready.
